Enhance

The new Mac Pro is a significant upgrade and starts at $300 less than before. It has a new redesigned interior, which creates an easy, well-organized workstation for you. It has been created in a way that makes it easy to access the side panel, and everything else you’ll need to have easy access to. You can simply slide out the processor tray to add memory. You can add storage by sliding out the hard drive bays. You can slide a simple bar to change up to four expansion cards at once, and with plenty of I/O ports on both the front and the back, you’ll have room for all your external devices that you need to attach. Apple has worked hard to create it in this way to make your workspace an organized, functioning area.

The new Mac Pro includes Intel Xeon processors which create a faster running computer, and each have an integrated memory controller with three channels that deliver up to 2.4 times the memory bandwidth, but at the same time cutting memory latency by up to 40%. Every Mac Pro comes standard with a high-performance graphics card with nearly three times greater performance when compared to the previous generation system. With both a Mini Display Port and DVI port, the new Mac Pro provides out-of-the-box support for the 24-inch Apple LED Cinema Display, the 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display, or other DVI based displays.

An updated interior provides easy access to all components within the Mac Pro for hassle free expansion. The Mac Pro includes four direct-attach cable-free hard drive carriers for installing up to 4TB of internal storage. An optional cable-free Mac Pro RAID card delivers performance up to 550MB/s and allows the four internal drive bays to be set up in advanced configurations for improved disk performance and redundant data protection.

The new Mac Pro also comes with an easy access power on/off button and more USB connection ports on the back of the machine. You no longer need to turn the system on its side or struggle to reach into awkward spaces to make changes. On top of all this, all Mac Pros now come with Apples newest Leopard programming. With over three hundred new features, Leopard is the most impressive Mac OS X version yet.
